Iran's Govt. Announces 3 Days of Mourning over Deaths of Citizens, Security Personnel
Tehran on‌ Sunday declared three days of national mourning in memory of civilians and law enforcments who were martyred during the recent unrest in Iran.

The presidential office announced that President Masoud Pezeshkian and the cabinet are in mourning for the deceased Iranians.
“The Iranian nation has witnessed firsthand the barbaric violence perpetrated by perpetrators, reminiscent of Daesh (ISIL or ISIS), against its people, Basij volunteers, and police forces, resulting in the martyrdom of many,” the government announced in a statement.
It condemned the violence, characterizing it as unprecedented and linked to those supported by the United States.
Violent rioters have vandalized public and private properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and Police stations in a number of cities across Iran in recent days, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.
Commenting on recent incidents, the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) announced in a statement that the US and Israel have not abandoned their hostilities toward the Iranian nation following their joint war with Iran in June.
The recent incidents began with protests against market instability but they led to insecurity as a result of planning by the Israeli regime, the statement further said, adding that remarks by Trump over the past several days indicate that Washington and the Zionist regime have made joint planning to create chaos in Iran.
The Iranian nation, however, will foil the enemy’s projects through national solidarity, unity and cohesion, the statement emphasized.
The Iranian government also vowed to pursue those responsible for the violence and maintain public order.
